Mmm...does it get better than this?

We were lucky enough to have Jared's sister Kacey join us for a little over a week last month. We did our best to show off the island and a few pieces of local culture she most likely won't find elsewhere, especially near D.C. where Kacey currently lives.

Of course on the itinerary was to take Kacey to a local street bullfight. We've posted pictures of past bull fights and they pretty much are all the same. The Azoreans come out in full force to show off their stupidity as they chase after a bull in the street (or rather get chased by a bull).

Jared and I like the bullfights not only to watch the bulls of course but to eat a biffana or two (pork sandwich) and drink a few beers (really Jared just does this part). At this past bullfight we had a special treat - local corn on the cob. I think Owen enjoyed the corn more than the bullfight and he had been talking about seeing the bullfight non-stop for days - no exageration.
